The Image on this bench, “Poy Sian”, was inspired by the halberd of King Naresuan the Great (1590 – 1605 AD). This halberd was used in an elephant battle between King Naresuan the Great and Mingyi Swa, the Crown Prince of Toungoo Dynasty which is a part of Myanmar nowadays.
King Naresuan the Great was the first person who used to live in this area as the Prince of Frontier Palace before his succession to the throne of Ayutthaya Kingdom.
