The term means \u201cKing of \u015ar\u012bvijaya.\u201d It appears in the inscription of Wat Sema Mueang, dated to around the 14th Buddhist century. This inscription is an important piece of evidence demonstrating the power of the \u015ar\u012bvijaya Kingdom, a significant kingdom in the southern peninsula of Thailand and the wider Southeast Asian region.<\/p>\n<p>Phra Borommathat Chaiya is an important Buddhist stupa with a history dating back to the \u015ar\u012bvijaya period.
